Whereas:

1. The Signatories are Internet industry associations in their respective countries.
2. The Signatories seek to provide representation for companies within the geographic boundaries of their nations or regions, and to encourage the development of the global Internet and online industries;
3. The Signatories deem it in their mutual interest to establish and maintain communications and a working relationship with each other;
4. The communications and working relationship between the Signatories is to be developed with a view to friendly cooperation on the basis of the principles of mutual respect and mutual benefit.

It is hereby agreed that:

1. The Signatories will:
   • share information (to the extent permissible by law);
   • work together on issues of common interest and credo;
   • provide support (in a form to be agreed) to one another in any endeavours that meet the approval of the respective Boards of Directors/Management Committees;
   • grant the right to hyperlink to one another’s web sites; and
   • other benefits of membership as the respective Boards of Directors/Management Committees may see fit to approve.
2. Any change or modification to this Memorandum of Understanding shall be mutually agreed upon and executed in writing by the Signatories.
3. A party may withdraw from this Memorandum of Understanding by giving notice.
